The main airport for reaching Bansko is Sofia Airport, about a 2-hour drive from the venue. It's also possible to fly into Plovdiv, Bulgaria’s second-largest city, which is around 3 hours away by road.

Several airlines operate flights to both cities:

• Wizz Air: Twice daily from London Luton to Sofia
   
• Ryanair: From Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool, and London Stansted to Sofia (seasonal schedules may apply)
   
• Bulgaria Air: Offers regular flights from London and other European cities

The most convenient flight for UK guests at present is:

• Ryanair from Birmingham

  • Return: 16:25 on Monday, 29 September 2025

Travel Information for UK Guests

As Bulgaria is part of the European Union and the UK is now classified as a 'third country', certain travel rules apply:

• No visa is required for UK citizens visiting Bulgaria for up to 90 days within any 180-day period.
   
• Your passport must be less than 10 years old on the day you enter and valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure date.
